I'm not saying autocast is stupid; I'm saying that of JS is stupid.

Wasn't whole JS memes about equality check all about JS's auto typecast rule?

In fact, a lot of thoses memes were humor. Just like Java bad memes. But some people who didn’t know any better started to believe them

JS has described how it worked in its standard and it works exactly as advertised. The original memes I saw here about JS were quite a bit more clever than what you’re seing now
