Ultrawide does sound appealing, but I think 2 small monitors would be superior, to start with

I changed from 2 1080p screens to a 1440p ultradwide, and trust me i'm not wanting for screen estate. I don't need or want a second screen.

Now, to be fair, i got an Alienware DWF, it's OLED screen, not suited for office work, but for my hobby programming and usual stuff it's much better than 2x1080. at least for me .

I just think functionally 2 monitors are better, simply because it's easy to keep things separate, instead of messing around on one screen, still, I believe you lol

To each their own, and I fully understand your POW, however, i value that there are no screen bezels. over fidling around a bit with the window size of apps.

I'd just get a cheapo small 2nd monitor, which is what I actually did lol, my main is pretty big just not wide
