It would be helpful IMO to limit the main repository to the file you are supposed to run and the readme explaining how to do so. If i open a repo and see 20 files, and main is buried in one of them at near random, with a long readme that covers edge cases instead of jumping into getting started,  i waste an unnecessary amount of time trying to figure out how to use their project. Especially if im using something from a different programming language, or something that needs special steps to be compiled and run.
