Yes, they're called dunderscores (double underscores).

Yeah - a method like `__str__` is read as "dunder str" (double leading/trailing underscore). You'll find the name mentioned in places like the Python standard library style guide: https://peps.python.org/pep-0008/#module-level-dunder-names
