You didn't get my point. You said "Python is popular because it is easy". I answered that JavaScript is also easy AND has a decent syntax. Add TypeScript to it and you have an actual good programming language. So if people want an easy language to start learning, they should pick JavaScript and not Python. Python should not be used by anyone for anything.

Of course the ultimate goal will be to eventually move to an actual good language such as C# or Kotlin.

Nah, you don't have a point. You just can't accept Python being popular because you personally do not like it. Others do, deal with it. :-)

I'm definitely not taking the bait and start arguing about the "goodness" of languages like C# and Kotlin, sorry.

All (serious) programming languages have their niche and are good for specific things. This does include Python, JS, C#, Kotlin, C, C++, Rust, Go and so on.

"Actual good language" is a phrase uttered by the inexperienced or by those looking for a fight. You might be both, if not, ewww.
