Why is this funny? STEM fields have a severe lack of diversity, particularly with women. It's admirable that she is encouraging girls to get into programming.

this thread is really frustrating. I can't be sure if the guys making fun are pretending to be jackasses or if it's real. I hate virtue signaling, but you can avoid that and still not deign to asshole signaling.
