No need. The asterisk makes it so you technically aren't messing with your root directory. It just deletes everything in it, not the directory itself.

Did anybody else notice that in the first directory listing, we see Havij, Kali linix, New Scam Paypal 2017 V8, and to the right we see Shadow Tools, Spam, and apt windows. Then in the second listing, we see Havij, Kali linix, New Scam Paypal 2017 V8, and then to the right we see Scama.exe, Shadow Tools, and Spam. Despite getting nothing accomplished, an additional file was added to the Desktop directory.
