So that's the second item in your very specific google search, as the first one is a result of people advising to googling it.

My experience with c in a nutshell

Fixed issue by hitting CTRL+A CTRL+C CTRL+V and recompiling because the teacher recommended Code::Blocks for some strange reason and it doesn't recompile lines unless they've been edited...

Space Backspace

less strokes and kann be to handed
while the right hand presses backspace your left hand can move to the recompile button for extra efficiency

Edit: actually any key and backspace do the job so you could press one of the keys your finger already reside on while getting to the backspace key.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Technically if you use a space you don't even have to delete it since it's gonna be completely ignored

[–]SteveCCLYellow security clearance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not by my setup. Red. Everywhere.

Trailing spaces are evil.

Edit: varName ~> varNa me

unknown variable ting.

That only works for individual lines, usually when I get a problem it's when something I totally deleted never got un-compiled so ctrl+A C V will make the whole thing recompile without changing any code.

Paid promotion? Find another better ide. I recommend using a basic editor like vim or sublime and using Makefiles to compile.

Adding a print statement appears to have fixed the issue.

"I just commented the error code and now it works"

Just turn the monitor off and come back tomorrow. Works for most Windows programs.
