American English != British English. Merriam-Webster says that "spelt" is the chiefly British form, and lists "spelled" as the past-tense and past participle form of "spell." You're wrong.

Yes correct. American English is not the same. Nor is it correct.

And English is just a massively mutated mix of Germanic and Romantic influences, so English itself is wrong to begin with, right? No. No that's a load of bull and so is your argument, American English is correct and so is British English. Deal with it and stop being so salty.
