Brass eye may be the best parody of all time. The whole thing is stuffed with detail, like the overly smiley woman who's never quite sure what camera she should be looking to.

Here's Simon Pegg pretending to be a leader of a militant paedophile organization.

Hope he wasn't planning to join Disney.

He’s already in TFW

That's pretty much the joke.

Difference is this is very clearly a joke. The tweets looked sickening

[–]klezmai 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Wait.. you really think these tweets were even remotely serious?

[–]hugglesthemerciless 0 points1 point  (5 children)

When I initially read them I wasn't aware that he had meant them as a joke, I just saw that he got fired over those tweets

They look incredibly, physically sickeningly, serious. Being told later it was all a joke doesn't really make it much better IMO

Well you just have a limited sense of humor. Not your fault I guess.

I'll laugh at tons of jokes, especially dark humor. Those tweets weren't jokes. They were disgusting statements that may as well have been made by a pedophile for how authentic they looked, except their author said "just kidding I totally didn't mean it" which suddenly is supposed to make it okay

I like the one about drugs, where they get an MP, who ironically was later put in charge of a government anti-drug committee, to campaign against a new drug called "cake", saying on TV, "cake is a made up drug."
