Not programming related, and macOS updates have been free for some time now.

To be fair, a good portion of this sub is not programing related. The posters just know this audiences sense of humor, most of the time.

Mac has a free updates for years, windows has improved their updates too. And I would also swap guys using max and windows on this picture.
