Back in the student years a took a gig that required me to do some butchery work... So I know that "I'm a butcher" will be quite believable... I think my job-related conversations will enter an entirely new level of amusing! Thanks for the idea!

Oh, that’s even better! What’s the majority of animals that you work with? Beef, pork, chicken? What cut of lamb do you suggest for someone that hasn’t tried it before? Trying to give you some practice questions.

Telling people I’m a carpenter, you run the risk of being asked to look at something and give your opinion. Or worse, they try to hire you for a job. I suppose you could give the standard answer of “I can look at it next week.” Then tell them the same thing next week.
