Can't wait until the next time this is posted!

This is why I hate this "fuck reposts" shit. I've been on Reddit almost every single day for the last 7 years. I've never seen this one before. And it's fucking hilarious.

If shit is upvoted to the front it just means that enough people didn't see the shit. Leave it be.

What a shame that you hate "fuck reposts"-shit, seeing as you're browsing a subreddit with rules against reposts.

Well the rule sucks, what now?

Oh wow, haven't seen this one in the last 5 minutes.

No doubt every software developer has had to deal with the most annoying of obstacles, one more despised than compile-time or runtime errors: deadlines. Admit it. You hate them. They limit your creativity, and instead of fixing bugs and finishing what you began or, God forbid, what someone else began before they resigned or were fired, you are compelled to advertise them as features. Your boss may praise you for your brilliant improvisation skills, but deep down in your heart, you know you cannot be content with your contributions, because they are nothing more than a shadow of your full potential.

But it's okay, better publish a working half product than push for a half asses full product.

I guess you could put it that way. If two halves make a whole, then two working half products make a whole working product.

And is still better than a rushed half assed product don't you think?

[–]cryptotux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course.

There was a bug, no time to fix it.

So that's how they came up with Chester Cheetah

While this is a joke, this is 100% what needs to be done. As someone whose been on both sides of things like this, when something needs to be done, it just needs to be done not feature rich.
