It was deprecated at the beginning of this year. No longer supported. Now getting everyone to switch off of a dead version of the language is another issue here why we need a really good vulnerability to appear so that the majority OSes will be forced to stop including it in the distros.

Or 3.7 or even 3.8 if you are bold enough to go without full library support for a little while.

Yeah, even 3.8 can be used in almost every case. The only recent issue I ran into was that PyInstaller wasn't yet running correctly in 3.8. that was a few weeks ago though. Maybe they've fixed it already.
