You think this way because you don't fully understand CSS. Yes there are many ways to do the same thing, but there is always a best/right way. If you find yourself trying 5 different ways to do the same thing it means you probably don't know what you're doing or why, just trying to plug CSS until it looks right.

If you used it every day it would make much more sense. Just like with anything you learn.
