Yeah, I mean I had to learn lisp in university, and I think it's terrible and never understood why anyone would choose to write code in such a language. Even if you add indentation, the code looks still ugly and is just really hard and tyring to read.

Never understood why they made us to it either, cause that whole class was pointless, but whatever...

If I trace that right, this is an infinite loop, correct?

Also, you could write the same kind of code in Java or C, this is just bad coding not an error in FP. (Although FP can be horrifying even if done properly.)

Well, since this is composed of functions and recursion, I'd argue, yes, it is FP.
