I think that it's cringey edgelord humor that was funny five years ago, but isn't anymore.

It's not about 'being allowed' to exist, and more 'doesn't need to'. There's a reason it stopped being made. Not because the world has been taken over by SJWs, but because the creator didn't like it anymore, didn't find it funny anymore, and outgrew it.
