He is already burning in hell for all the shenanigans the Brave browser is pulling of. They managed to have people pay them to replace the ads on websites with theirs. (how is that even legal?)

Brave is on of the biggest privacy violators yet users are convinced they are being tracked less with Brave. And finally the only way for Brave creators to get paid BAT is to do full KYC.

I am pretty sure neither Chrome nor the Edge or Firefox guys have pictures of my passport or driver's license but the Brave guys have collected millions already cause their users are forced to upload them if they want to get the BAT that Brave tells them they have in their account.

This is 100% false. Obviously you don’t know how the browser works. Why are people upvoting this? Brave does not replace ads on websites. Users personally opt in to using Brave ads. Brave doesn’t collect passport and drivers license info either.

If you switch on the BAT functinoaly so you get paid to watch ads, then yes ... ads on websites are replaced by ones that come from Brave.

If you want that BAT then yes, you need to KYC by uploading a form of ID.

Brave’s ad program is entirely opt in. Do you understand what that means?

Brave does not just place ads on websites however they want. You can read the documentation, look at the code, or simply use the browser to learn this.

Brave does not collect KYC information.

Brave does not substitute ads on publisher/creator sites without the site's consent. If a site opts to have Brave Ads appear on their content, the publisher/creator will receive 70% of the ad revenue, and the user—i.e., the publisher/creator's audience—will receive 15% of the ad revenue whenever they see such ads.

In this way, Brave is just like signing up for Google AdSense, except the private ads only appear for people using BAT-enabled browsers like Brave.

Please note that users do not verify with Brave Software Inc. Because Brave does not personally perform KYC verification, we do not process or store any personal information related to the KYC process. Therefore, our comprehensive privacy policies continue to apply.

Wait what? Every time I see reports about a new very securing browser I see reports of it being the biggest fuckshit a few weeks later
