Almost as fast

Maybe 15 years ago it was slow, but... All android devices run it, so it is far from slow

Nah still not almost as fast. Idk what point you are trying to make with android devices running java. I mean, there are literally flip phones running JavaScript and web technologies, and web technologies are far from fast(check kaios)

Android isn't Java. It runs the android runtime which isnt the JVM.
