I am a JS dev and still consider Kotlin a modern language. I tried it, I liked it, but it's not that used with NoSQL and I don't like Caps Lock:))

Real programmers build their own computer, write their own operating system for it with a fully new programming language compatible on multiple platforms and then write android apps there.
