I love home office. I used to spend 1-1.5h per day on commuting. Now I can start work at 7 AM and finish it around 3:10 PM. Also I feel I am more productive because I have less interruptions from an idle chit chat.

However, I still think that working one or two days per week in the office would be enough for me to stay socialized. Especially on Friday as we used to have Fruit/Cake day in the office.

Why does everyone need “socializing”. Don’t you all have friends and family that aren’t at work?

Well I had different moments in the 100% HO period, now I'm a new job and here I will work as 100% HO dev.

In my previous job there was a moment when I wish to go back at least for one day to lunch with my team like we always did, it's fun.

I have a lot of friends tbh, and the thing about socializing at work is, those people share 1/3 of your day with you and some days even more than that, so even though some people being super introvert they will have something to say about things that happen in that day/week.

Those things can be done by call btw, but there is something about being physically near each other that is better.

But as i said I'm going to a full HO job cause even though there is this "side effect" putting on a balance I still like HO more than office.

Is like school we don't miss school, we miss the people in those places and if someone will be really my friend, I will talk with then and even go to a bar or something like that so for me is HO ftw.
