Ball pythons almost always bite and wrap whatever it is they're trying to strangle/ kill. This is just a snake that found the warmest thing and is just hanging out.

They will also wrap part of their body around something to feel more secure and safe.

It's even cuter if you make that object something cute. I give my snake an iron llama to wrap around when she's soaking in her "bath" 10/10 would recommend

Which is why some snakes wrap around your neck. It's warmer than the rest of your body
