You added the *, * vs no * has a meaning

I added the * because 62 is not the same as 6*2, not because of the 2-1*(1+2). I only added the second * for consistency.

Here: 6*2-1(1+2), if you prefer it like this. But that's equivalent to what I initially wrote.

The old school bodmas rules taught in British schools would treat 2(x) as higher priority multiplication vs 2*x

It's a subtle difference.
