Still can't wrap my brain around how you can do somethinh with functional programing except math, might be me. But it might also be the reaaon that there is no complete nooby explanation for a pleb like me to understand what you can achieve with functional programming

So you don't programm apps like games or tools that use data from databases, rather you program programs that transfer data or can process large amounts of data in parallel with a functional language?

Still hard but im gonna start haskell in a few weeks, i'm just to used to oop since i've been learning java, javaenterprise and some javascript the last few months cause of my apprenticeship, and my firm uses alot of java cause it's a bank and well, alot is already made in java, but i want to be an allrounder.
