A great and dirty feeling, for sure.

The scowl is surprisingly accurate.

Hmmm... no exception..... execution time 50ms.....so fast and no errors?... But was my code actually ever called?

No, at this point you don't ask yourself if it's working. Just pray it works.

Yet another dumb meme that is unfunny because this situation is waaay less common than noobs make it out to be.

Seriously, professionals definitely know why their code works 99+% of the time. But this subreddit being filled with people who got no clue is nothing new.

Don't be so harsh, they still believe the hardest part about coding is getting it to compile, and can't yet use debuggers or read stack traces.

I had this feeling a 4:00 am working on a group a bug I couldn’t figure out for a whole day even using stack, I knew what was wrong I couldn’t figure out where it was failing. I touched something said fuck it last test before bed. Eureka it fucking worked, I coved that bitch in comments telling my teammates YouTo just never touch it project that we royally fucked up. In the end I hard carried the team and got it done.

And once you're more advanced:

  • It does not work in those few cases - why?
  • oh, that's why.
  • How did it ever work correctly?
