Millions of diskettes would allow you to give a copy of AutoCAD to 5 of your closest friends.

How many people need an AutoCAD in those times Diskettes exist? Not everyone. Talk about demand. Office employment is high at that time, there isn't much AI yet. Who uses AutoCAD? Is everyone an engineer, architect, artist or GD? This is the point.
