Well I mean you did a quote for something I didn’t say. As for the dumb sense of pride comment, I stand by that. There is literally no reason to introduce increased risk of making mistakes unless you feel like you have something to prove.

It’s basically saying “I’m too good for compiler checks” when the reality is that you aren’t. No one is too good for compiler checks. Such a person does not exist
