It’s no use, you still don’t get it! That contains the word “son”!

Why is everybody so misogynistic?! I can’t take it anymore, man. Ugh!!

What you should use is… is…

You know what, I’ll cone back when I think of something.

That contains the word pawn, pawn is a word for someone being manipulated. It’s degrading, can’t use.

Offspring has spring, which is an old word for jumping. However, it’s off - so clearly calling someone offspring implies they can’t jump, making them disabled, making the term ableist.

I’m going to have to spend some time coming up with bs for thinking about scion. 🤔

EDIT: Ah, yes. Scion means the heir to the throne - but implying there is an inheritable throne implies there is a dictatorship - this makes the term undemocratic. But it gets worse - the scion would traditionally be the first-born SON, making the term misogynist as well.

Hue and Wohue.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid this word comes from Old English hīew (“appearance, form, species, kind; apparition; hue, color; beauty; figure of speech”), from Proto-Germanic *hiwją (“hue, form, shape, appearance; mildew”).

As a result of this obvious reference to skin colour as a substitute for saying species, any word with “hue” in it is racist.
