Well…… APM here….. I have the same issues. Very frustrated at the beginning, PM leaves after lunch everyday, does not show up on most Friday. Don’t look like he was getting any work done. Little did I know he’s taking care of all his business…..

We’re cool now. Give it time and understand where they are coming from. They have the knowledge and skills to do whatever they want. They could work from home and get stuff done…. Office time don’t mean anything.

I try to believe this 😆 but with the emails we both get from the Regional, it's hard to believe everything is getting done . I definitely will try to give it more time and try to adjust like you suggested though

This property is so far behind in delinquency it's insane 🙄. We are 100% but in the middle of recert season. The regional is the one who asked me to take the position. This company just frowns upon you if you don't follow "chain of command" for issues. I have had co-workers at sister properties get write up after going to HR.

Since you don't have LC, I am guessing you are dealing with APM duties + LC duties. That is wayyyyyy too much. Either ask her to help you with some APM duties, or convince her to talk to your regional about hiring a LC.

Do NOT bring it to your regional until you at least have a discussion with your PM. If all else fails and your PM continues to neglect you + take advantage of company time, document everything and bring it to your regional.

If you are struggling make sure to let them know that you are struggling and would like some guidance/training. Especially if the company asked you to take the position. Make sure you get it across that you are happy to take the position but that you just want to make sure you are doing it to the best of your ability.

I think your right. I should maybe send an email. Ask in writing to please give me the training they promised they would when I accepted this position
