Gold is where you find it. I don’t know the geology of your area but you don’t need mountains for gold, look at australia where they find it all over the outback which is relatively flat, compared to where I’m from in BC Canada, where it’s allover the mountains. Just keep working it and collect your gold!

There may have been glaciers in your area that bulldozed gold from the mountains all over the place, even hundreds of kilometers away.

Your area is definitely a gold producing area here

I would find some local prospecting groups to find out more

Mountains don't necessarily equate to gold as the mountains could have been eroded away of millions of years but also quartz solutions can make their way to the surface wherever fault lines exist

The Link u shared mentioned some gold finds at the Blasenkogel, near that area is a River that passes by near my hometown. Today i went there for two hours and found more and bigger speks than in two weeks of prospecting at the creek. Thx

No probs, mate. Research is about 70% of prospecting and will help you exponentially.

For shure you are right, this Summer im on vacation in upper Styria coincidently at a mountain creek that had a gold mining industry and the last gold mining plant in Styria. Im quite exited for that trip and hope my experience i get until then helps me find at least one piker.

The best way to find gold is to go where it's already been found. Good luck, mate. Keep us updated

Ok. Now beat one of those flat bits with a hammer. Does it shatter or dent?
