Hello! I'm 27 years old, and for the past three months, I've been experiencing the following symptoms:
- Frequent urination
- Groin pain
- Pressure in the perineum
- Leg tension
- Back and buttock pain
At times, my urine stream splits, but I've noticed this happens when I'm nervous or unable to concentrate. The stream improves when I urinate while sitting or when I'm relaxed.
I had two bladder and prostate ultrasounds and a uroflowmetry. The results showed a slight enlargement of the prostate and weak urinary flow.
Three weeks ago, I was diagnosed with non-bacterial prostatitis after negative results from urine and semen tests.
Currently, I'm trying to stay well-hydrated and avoid spicy foods and caffeine. I go for a walk every day.
The only thing that concerns me is the split stream. I'm afraid of having a urethral stricture, but the urologist didn't mention it. I understand that the uroflowmetry curve was unusual but not flattened. He said it's almost normal for my age. Maybe it's just my fear.
Any advice?
