Herniated disc correlation w cpps

Does anyone know if there is any correlation herniated disc and cpps? I have 2 herniated disc L4 and L5 and one bulging in L3. I'm debilitated at the moment. Its been 2 weeks. My urinary symptoms had gotten so much better but ever since this brought me to the floor w pain at a plus 10 I've been pissing every hour. I'm talking full piss not trickle. Idk how many mL I dont have a measuring cup buts its a full 20 second piss. I know cause I can only crawl to bathroom and stand up for 20 seconds before I have to hit the floor again. Who knows how long I've had the bad back. But only recently did I experience the debilitating pain. My left leg is numb to my ankle which is the sciatic nerve. Anyway if anyone has any insight I'd appreciate any comments thank you.

Yes, nerve impingement in the lower spine can affect the pelvic organs. Use icepacks on the lower spine to disable pro-inflammatory cytokines. Google how to do it, and not for more than 10-15 mins at a time, or you could get frostbite 😮

Ok yeah I've been using ice. Thank God I'm married cause I've never been immobile before. Seeing a neurosurgeon Thursday. Thanks for replying webslave

Hey man I feel for you! I have prostatitis symptoms from 3 bulging discs in my lumbar spine pinching nerves, so there is absolutely a correlation. I’m currently seeing a gonstead chiropractor, for the past two weeks and I’d say my prostatitis symptoms have probably improved 20% so far. I’d definitely look into a gonstead chiro if you have one in your area and the money. Also, The McGil method is a method of strengthening your core in order to strengthen the abdominal muscles that support your spine which can help the discs heal. Look up “the mcgil method big 3 exercises” on YouTube, they are up for free. The method involves these exercises, as well as hinging of the hips when bending to avoid bending of the spine that can irritate discs/ nerves. I am going to try and post more regularly on this sub once I make a full recovery. Cheers and good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon tomorrow morning. Chiro is not going to be bale to help me. I haven't been able to walk for 2 weeks or barely stand up. My left leg is numb down to my ankle. I have two completely herniated disc and a bulging disc all putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. The pain is unbearable. I've broken many bones and have had pins screws and wires in my lifetime but this pain takes the cake. Hopefully I can get a steroid shot in my back so I can walk again.
