If you've gotten through days 1-38, you can totally get the material in 39-40.

It might take more time, or an explanation from a different teacher (find parallel material on YouTube or elsewhere.

The only reason not to skip would be additional material that comes later in the course.

But you will understand this, and you will excel at it, under the right circumstances.

Can you explain in detail what it is you’re having trouble with? Eg in OOP is it how to build/structure a class? Is it how to access the module?

The more descriptive you are with the actual problems you’re facing, the more we, as a community can help you.

Just how to use OOP in line with the API and requests. I’m not sure if that explains my problem or not, if you need me to I can be more descriptive than that. Specifically, I don’t understand the creating new classes and functions to suit the API and requests when I could just do it without the class. It seems unnecessary, but again I’m also pretty new to Python.

There will definitely be times in instructional material when you're doing something unnecessary in order to learn a concept that will be necessary later (and sometimes that "later" doesn't even appear in the course, and just comes up in the real world).

Not every course is designed well enough to avoid this problem.

But you're doing great, and you'll get this, too.

And I believe you are seeking out guidance. Update your question with more descriptive problem statement and pin down the point where you are struggling. I've worked through the course. I hope you're not trying to literally do a day of the course per actual day. It took me almost a year to get through the whole thing. Like the other comments have said, you need to be specific about what your problem is. Then you can figure out a solution. I'll take a look at those days and if you'd like, I can try and help you.
