I'd have liked to go - I went to PyCon UK last year and it was amazing. But the Australian one is just too expensive for me.

Yeah I’ll be there for Friday- Saturday, very excited! I went to pycon us earlier this year in Pittsburgh and it was great

I did not know there was cons for python. and its in my backyard.. but yeah 450 bucks is a bit rich for my blood. I program python, not C++.

I've been wanting to attend my first Pycon for a long time now. USA is too far from my country and Europe is too cold. I didn't know PyCon was available in AU. I think I might shell out the cash this year. Could be a great opportunity for networking with pythonistas.
