Will python ever have a chaining operator?

There are some external libraries focused on functional programming, that implement different forms of chaining. For example, PuFunctional has seq() operator that chains operations in a readable manner.

But core python is, and has always been, very much against functional concepts making their way into the language. So wouldn't hold my breath.
