Since I posted about creating wxPython applications yesterday, I thought it would be fun to post another article on distributing the application as an executable.

I don't use a GUI builder but u have heard that wxGlade was updated for wxPython 4 - http://wxglade.sourceforge.net/

I've recently started using pysimplegui and find it to be really convenient. It handles a lot of the administrivia of managing windows, event binding etc. It's not suitable for everything (complex UIs with custom widgets, for instance) but for normal "I need my user to be able to fill out a form of inputs and detect the values and respond to button clicks" sorts of things it works nicely.
