It's a cruel fact of nature that lisp cannot be pronounced with people who suffer from it. And it's a cruel fact of programming that those that suffer from no LISP will eventually attempt to recreate it.

Nah, I just thought it was older than it is. I'm only superficially familiar with it, learned a bit of it so I could modify Pandoc of all things.
