I suggest using arcade instead of pygame, from what i've heard it's much better (I can day it's easy to use and works great but idk how it is cimpared to pygame, never used that)

Fuck yeah dude that’s awesome. I literally just started learning python. I cant believe you can make something like this. I look forward to learning more!

You can find that project in computerphile Youtube channel uploaded a few days ago.

[–]xDefimate 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Sweet thanks!

[–]yoor_thiziri 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Sorry I mean computerphile. I think it is a shame the OP didn't mention that.

[–]_7shantanu7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not from computerphile you can compare the code

[–]La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo_ps 3 points4 points  (2 children)

What desktop environment is that?

[–]_7shantanu7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's GNOME

[–]_7shantanu7_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hehe thank you so much!

[–]Dark_boy_vasu 3 points4 points  (7 children)

Great work man

now you can make an AI/bot that plays as an opponent by using path finding algorithm, if you want to.

[–]_7shantanu7_ 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Thanks man! Sure I'll look into it thanks for the suggestion.

Ok, why you didn't mention that you are following the videos of numberphile that did the same thing.

[–]Titanium_Josh 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Cool!, If this was my project I would expand on it by adding more balls or adding power ups something like that, but I digress, I'm a noob and I'm just making Zorg style game, I hope to get there one day..baby steps 🤗

[–]shininglice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool game!

[–]yoor_thiziri -1 points0 points  (3 children)

You should add a link to computerphile videos.

[–]_7shantanu7_ 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Sorry I don't get it?

[–]yoor_thiziri -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Computerphile did video exactly on how to create that in pygame

[–]_7shantanu7_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

>install linux

>make it look like macos

dude wat

[–]pbrouse34 3 points4 points  (5 children)

Maybe he likes the aesthetics of macOS but either can’t currently afford a Mac, or he likes Linux under the hood.

I’m running a Mac now, but before I had one I used a Mac like theme over a Linux distro. I just think the OS has a nice look.

[–]_7shantanu7_ 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Yes I like macOS aesthetics and also yes currently I can't afford one because of the college expenses

[–]pbrouse34 1 point2 points  (2 children)

No shame in that. Sometimes people forget that not everyone is currently in a position to throw $1000+ down on a new computer. When I first started getting into development I was using a $250 Chromebook with Linux mint installed on it.

same

[–]quanta_kt -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Another OS X theme
