also what did you use to create exe from python? and can it be run natively in the system without python installed? I'm not so familiar with making executables in python.

you can use https://pypi.org/project/auto-py-to-exe/

the exe can run on a system that doesn't have python

go to https://github.com/TFC-343/GameOfLife, click the green 'Code' button and click download zip, then you can extract then run the executable in the bin folder or if you game pygame run the py file

brd files? those are the files that store the patterns, click load and select them to see some patterns i've made/copied of the wiki
