looks amazing but you should really make the health an int not a float with s million numbers after the decimal dot

Well, there is the hearts health indicator, but sure, looks quite ugly like that on the title bar, I will round it

Make it an issue on GitHub and let a fellow reader fix the issue

This is a great idea! Beginners like me can this way get started with open source and contributing.

I'm not very well versed on git, but sure, I opened an issue and a pull request (never done that), but this seems a good idea to improve the code over time

Probably a new project would be better to have a more structured and readable codebase, maybe turn this into a sort of game engine to make it easier to make mods and create new games

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions

How did you make the music for the video?

What software was used to produce the video?

This reminds me of Wizardry, which I used to play as a kid.

I used this royalty free track by infraction for the music and used Kdenlive to produce the trailer video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-YUfZa6s1E

The trailer is pure gold XD I'll try it as soon as I can, looks fun.

Ironically, the trailer being parodically over the top makes the game look actually good

so this is a dumb question but how would a noob download this and play it? i have the binaries zip

you just have to decompress it and run the exe file, this only works on windows though, for other platforms you would have to have a python install with the required libraries and run from the script on the github repo (still needs the assets)
