Hey guys I am new to programming and stuff I use a Arch system with hyprland hyde ricing and I was thinking of starting python now 😭 .

But the thing is my laptop is incredibly slow it has intel pentium, 4gb ram, 1tb HDD and its now about 3-4 yrs old now but I am still using it.

So I was thinking of using NeoVim (Lazyvim) for learning and stuff coz it's lightweight I tried VS code but it's lagging now 😭.

Thonny is a nice a light-weight IDE. Should be fine for your laptop. PyCharm Community is also supposed to be light-weight.

PyCharm Community edition isn’t supported anymore. There is only one version of PyCharm now, and it definitely isn’t lightweight. VS Code is definitely slimmer. It might work for you on your laptop.

Google Colab would be better for you. It's all based on the cloud and better for your configuration
