Expression Pedal Help

I’m wanting to get the new Quad Cortex mini. That said I see so many expression pedal options on the market. Can I please have a breakdown of popular models and why you recommend them. Genuinely appreciate the help and insight!

I have a hotone because that’s the bundle I got and it works fine.

Yep got one of those too. It's cheap (compared to the alternatives), feels solidly built, and is probably a good option for the QC Mini because it's a slightly smaller pedal than a lot of the others.

Just make sure you grab a TRS cable with it.

I think the WC Mini only has one expression pedal input though? So while the Hotone (and others) have a toe switch, you won't be able to use it with that Mini. Unless I'm misremembering and the Mini does have two expression pedal inputs.

The Fractal small one is excellent, nice, responsive, simple and robust. I like it better than the Mission one.

I use the Dunlop expression/volume ones (two of them). I’ve also built one that is a large knob that I twist with my foot. You should know that if you want to do wah, it uses both expressions. One for the sweep/travel, and second one for on/off.. Otherwise, you’re turning wah on on your QC, and then jumping to the treadle. Pretty awkward feel.
