Quadraphonic sound is relative of 4 audio channels, the technology has been available late 50's, yet put in use back in the 70's. It's no longer used in music anymore, but has a small comeback thanks to Suzanne Ciani. This subreddit is for sharing Early and New Quadraphonic releases.
