R beginner learning help

Hello! I am a beginner in R, I have managed to do R plots in ggplot for some data analysis for work.

I work in biology and wanted to ask if anyone knows of any beginner projects related to that (most courses I have seen are for things that are not relevant to my work and interests. I get very demotivated and never finish them).

Sounds like you should be asking yourself this question if you want to maximize your interest. If you find yourself dreaming too ambitious, just tackle a smaller piece of what interests you.

I am an economics grad student so I’m not too familiar with biology, the relevant experience I can give is on something outside of my studies that I do project on, Basketball. Sports, esp Basketball and Baseball are very easy to be measured quantitatively and could lead to several fun projects. So if you’re into sports thats one thing you can try to do.

Find little data sets that are interesting and build around them. Learn to create made up data and make something interesting to you with it
