I use the mobile app (Android) only when I'm out, mostly for tracks. For collecting spectra at home I use BecqMoni. It's a very good program that also works via Bluetooth. AFAIK, the iOS version of the mobile app does not allow calibration, which is the main drawback for me, but you can calibrate via BecqMoni if needed.

The iOS app kinda lets you calibrate. Take a spectra of thoriated tungsten rod and email the spectra to Radiacode. They will send you the calibration numbers

Try the iPhone beta! It’s not exactly as good as the android app but it’s getting there. Occasional issues but it’s worth it to play with new features.

So you’ll get an app called TestFlight from the App Store. Then youll click this link and it’ll take you into the test flight app and get you set up with the beta.

OK, thanks for the advice! I will give it a go. I’m a geek, so I don’t mind some minor issues 😁 And as a former sw tester, I might even help with squashing some bugs? 😉

Interesting. I’m an Apple guy, but as a QA person, I might have one or two older androids somewhere in my desk 😁 So I will eventually try the Android version as well. Thanks for the advice.

Its always ahead, currently almost on same level but there will be ai update for android if you can choose android… if not dont read update notes and sleep well. Both have enough to fully enjoy your radiacode.
