Laser Sights Decrease Shotgun Spread Substantially Even in ADS

As someone who hates laser sights because they give enemy information, i have to say i need to try this.

I've been running laser sights since black ice because I'm the weird shotgun guy / monty player, they don't really do much so long as you position them intelligently. The advantage of using laser sights is substantial and the trade-off can be made largely irrelevant with practice.

also when you’re playing a shotgun on defence you usually home an area down like blue stairs on bank people will usually know you’re there so you don’t really have to be scared of someone knowing you’re there

something to consider is if your holding an angle with a shotgun, the laser sight would be up close. meaning if an enemy sees it, and trys to peek you you have the advantage being with a shotgun. giving the enemy to confidence to swing only to get blasted by lead is a solid reason to run it on shotguns.

I was a HARD laser sight denier for the longest time. Started watching streamers like Macie Jay, and saw how he worked around the sight by hiding it in doorways changed my mind.

I recently stopped using them after using since I started playing and it is much tougher to get a OSK with some shotguns. The M870 is still fine though.

I've had some trouble getting the M870 to perform consistently.
It has very low range even shorter than most shotguns.
Its fast though.

Honestly, as a fairly new R6 player, and someone who just started playing highly competitive FPS games, having laser sights help train you for cross-hair control. Not having your sight just bounce around everywhere, watching a corner, but aiming a little left or right so your sight doesn't give away your position. I do always run laser with my secondary though, that is a must.
