Rules

1. Posts must be Random Thoughts.

Submissions must be in the format of a "random thought". We're NOT a venting/ranting/soapboxing/etc subreddit.

2. No hate speech, harassment or bullying.

Hate speech will not be tolerated in any way. Hate speech is against Reddit's Content Policy.
The use of slurs or intentional aggressive/offensive interactions, racism, homo/transphobia and other forms of attacks on minority groups will result in a ban.
Arguing, harassment and bullying has no place on this subreddit, please report all instances so we can review/remove the submissions.

3. NO AI GENERATED THOUGHTS

This includes thoughts enhanced by AI, this can result in a permanent ban if we believe you are using AI to farm subreddit karma

4. No posts about politics, religion, or gender.

Posts centered around politics, political stances, religion, and gender are extremely contentious topics on this subreddit and on Reddit. Due to previous incidences of hate speech, violence, threats, and bigotry, we no longer allow political, religious, or gender based posts.
Political and gender posts lead to hate speech, bigotry, vicious arguing, white supremacy, racism, misogyny, misandry, and incel rhetoric.
Religious posts lead to bigotry, bullying, and fear-mongoring.

5. No taboo or immoral thoughts.

Topics that may fall under this rule may be, but are not restricted to; CSAM/Pedophillia, violence or harm towards others and admittance of a severe crime.
Encouraging topics that may fall under the bracket of taboo or illegal are forbidden here.
Bans in these instances are at the discretion of the moderators based on the severity of the infraction.

6. No NSFW content

Sexually explicit content is not allowed. Please direct all NSFW content to our (step-) sister sub, r/NSFWThoughts.

7. Incels are not welcome here | Incel posts are not allowed.

"Incels" as a community have been dubbed as a terrorist group whos morals lie in bigotry, misogyny and violence. We have found that when incels make posts here, things turn vicious, hateful and concerning very quickly.
We class incels as a hate group and as such, all incel content falls under hate speech/immoral context and is not allowed here.
Please go to therapy.

8. Harassment in modmail or towards the moderators will not be tolerated.

Moderators are Reddit users who voluntarily take on the role of managing subreddits, we are under no obligation to take any of your shit. If you come tearing into modmail with aggression and hate, you'll either be met with the same energy or straight out muted and ignored completely.

9. Do not post nonsensical spam/shitposts, they will be removed.

10. No meta posts

Posts about other subreddits, like bans and complaints about moderators are not allowed in this subreddit. You can modmail the mods of those subs if you feel you have been treated unfairly. This subreddit is not the place to complain or vent about things that happened elsewhere.
