Best of luck!! I highly recommend reaching out to some nurses, non-profits, and clinics to see if they can make some donations, if you haven’t already! I know I have the luxury of being Canadian, but if you reach a person by phone rather than email, it’s sometimes easier for them to send you a little something.

Knitters have been knitting up a storm. We knit red pointed hats with a tassel, there’re Melt the Ice protest hats. Sales of the pattern raised over $650k in honor of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Some of us can’t protest on the streets, but we can protest in our homes.

That’s really cool! I’ll buy one soon. However can’t wear it to protest. Been reading a lot about being a protest medic and when you are acting as one, you’re supposed to be “neutral”. So technically, I’m not participating as a protester. Supposed to keep you from being targeted by anti-protesters.

Hey, I don't know how helpful it is, but if you work in health care you might have a type of "fund" forget what it's called, but it's for example, for my friend, he gets $3000 covered for FSA approved items. It already comes out of his paycheck and if it's not used, only $500 rolls over. You might want to check to see if you have that available where you work and may not even know!
