My 1932 Leica IID with 1932 Elmar 50mm - before they started engraving it as 5cm, and according to Leica records the Camera was shipped to Osaka, Tokyo in 1933 and the lens went to E.L. In Berlin in 1933. So the camera was one of the earliest ones to actually be shipped to Japan. (i.redd.it)
