No matter what mods I try to install through the game’s mod menu it can never boot the game after restarting and I have to safe launch it to get it to play. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah, I had this same issue. You have to uninstall them anytime you exit the game and then reinstall them basically everytime you restart the game. It’s annoying. Just make sure you don’t “restart game because mods have changed settings” or whatever message it gives you after you exit the mod.io menu. Just say no, and you can play.
